Cops looking for secret admirer of 1 of the........ missing Chiong sisters POLICE are looking for a secret admirer of 23-year old Jackie Chiong who might know about the disappearance of the girl and her younger sister Marijoy. Homicide chief Florencio Diaz told SUN STAR DAILY yesterday that Jackie's former boyfriend told them of the young lady's secret admirer. Diaz did not name the former boyfriend but described him as cooperative with the police on their questions. He said the two broke up over two years ago. The man could not identify Jackie's secret admirer, Diaz said, but named one of her female friends who could. Five days have past since the Chiong sisters were last seen waiting for a ride at Ayala Center Cebu at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. Jackie who works at the Ayala Center and Marijoy, 21, a third year college student at the University of San Carlos, were to be fetched by their father, Dionisio, the night they disappeared. Unconfirmed reports also said the two allegedly boarded a taxi with plate no. GMC 416. |
ELOPEMENT Since the Chiong family has not received demands for ransom money, Police Regional Office (PRO) 7 Chief Ramsey Ocampo said the two sisters are still considered "missing persons." Meanwhile, Diaz said the PNP crime laboratory still has to submit the results of the autopsy, fingerprint and dental check of the girl found in a ravine in Carcar town Friday.
A PNP medical team led by Dr. Nestor Sator last
Saturday autopsied the woman's body, and fingerprinted her and examined
her teeth. The body lies in a funeral homes in Carcar. Police will compare
the results with the fingerprints and dental records of the Chiong
sisters. Comments: In this newspaper report, it's mention that the autopsy was made on the body in Carcar on Saturday, the 19th of July; whilst during the trial, testimony was given that the autopsy was made on the Sunday, 20th of July. Which is which now? It is mentioned in this reportage that a dental examination on the body was also made. But, this dental report was never presented in court. Why? (For more discrepancies on the medical report, please see Part 4 of this website). |
