          Yes, I was present. I was in school when he was picked up.

ATTY. VILLARMIA:
   Q    Before that time, do you know if anybody went to school to inquire Paco's presence on July 16, 1997?

   A    About a month before September 15, 1997 a policeman came to school to inquire about Paco's presence in our school.

   Q    And what date was that when that particular policeman went to your school?

   A    He was asking about his presence on July 16, 1997.

   Q    And did you tell him in response to that inquiry or question of that police officer?

   A    Yes, I told him that I had a record showing that he was here on July 16.

   Q    Which record did you show him?

   A    The Class Record, sir.

   Q    What was his response to your information that Paco Larrañaga was in school on July 16, 1997?

   A    He seems satisfied that he was there.

COURT:
          Well, ask her to re-affirm that now because she always said that she told that to the policeman. Ask her to re-affirm that now that she saw Larrañaga on July 16.

ATTY. VILLARMIA:
   Q    Do you re-affirm that Paco Larrañaga was present in school on July 16, 1997.

WITNESS:
   A    Yes, sir, he was there.

   Q    Up to what time he was in school on July 16, 1997?

   A    I saw him until about 6:30 in the evening.

ATTY. VILLARMIA:
   Q    Who was his companion at that time when you saw him at 6:30 in the evening of July 16, 1997.

PROS. GALANIDA:
          No basis, Your Honor.

COURT:
   Q    If any? Was he alone?

WITNESS:
   A    He was with Mr. Richard Antonio.

   Q    Did your classes last up to 6:30 P.M. ?

   A    No, sir, but I was in school.

   Q    You were in school?

    A    Yes, I was still in school.

    Q    And you saw him?

    A    Yes, Your Honor.

   Q    What was he doing at that time 6:30 since you said you had no class by that time? What time did your class end? What was he doing?

   A    I was at the foot of the stairs when he was coming down from the stairs with Richard Antonio.

   Q    What time did your class end on that day?

   A    My class was in the morning and it was from 8:00 o'clock in the morning until around 11:00 o'clock.

   Q    Did you see Paco there at that time 8:00 to 11:00?

   A    Yes, Your Honor.
