              ordered, where did that person go?

WITNESS:
A          He went towards the van.

Q          And went he reached the van, what did he do?

A          He entered the van or he boarded the van.

Q          Through which side or door did he board the van?

A          Right front seat of the van.

Q          You mean to say he boarded the van through the side door on the driver's seat? I mean, on
             the side of the driver's seat?
 

A          Yes, sir.

Q          And after he boarded the van, what happened?

A          They proceeded towards the Poblacion of Carcar.

Q          You said you saw the van, would you be able to recall--- I will reform the question, Your
             Honor. You said you saw the van, did you see the Plate Number of that van?

A          Yes, sir.

Q          Would you please tell the court the Plate Number of the van?
 

A          GGC-491.

Q         Before that evening, I mean early morning of July 17, 1997, did you already see that van in
            Carcar?

A         Yes, sir.

Q        Do you know the driver of that van?

A         Yes, Allan Cano.

Q         Why do you know him?

A          Before he was my conductor when I was driving a jeep plying Carcar to Cebu.

Q          Are we to understand from your answer that before July 17 you had already known Allan
             Caño personally?

A          Yes, sir.

Q          If Allan Cano is now in the court room, would you please point to him?

A          The fourth person from the left. (Witness pointing to a person sitting on the prisoners deck
             wearing orange t-shirt marked BBRC who when asked answered that his name is Alberto
             Cano).

Q          Do you know if this Alberto Cano has an alias?
 

A          Yes, sir, Allan Pahak.
