PRELIMINARY: Miss Catherine Bustillo, you are hereby invited to this office to
                          shed light in connection with the case of Marijoy and
                          Jacqueline Chiong which where abducted on 16 July 1997 at
                          about 11:00 in the evening allegedly at the Ayala Center, Cebu
                          and which is now under investigation by this office. Are you aware
                          about this investigation?

ANSWER:         Yes sir.

01. Q - Before we go further, let me remind you of your rights under our new
            constitution that gives you your Constitutional Rights, such as: You
            have the right to remain silent and not to answer questions  that will
            incriminate you; You the rights of a lawyer preferably of your own
            choice, and if you cannot afford, you will be provided with one by this
            office and anything you said may be used against or on your favor. Do
            you understand your rights which I have just read to you?
      A - Yes sir.

02. Q - Do you wish to avail of a lawyer of your own choice?
      A - No need sir because whatever I am going to say is the truth and to the
           best of my knowledge and belief.

03. Q - Will you please state your name, age, civil status and anything that will
            further lead to your identity.
       A - I am Catherine Bustilllos y Olivares, 20 year old, single, born on
            April 15, 1977 at Cebu City and presently employed as sales representative
            at the Beathwicks Flowers and Fragrances.

04. Q - Where were you presently residing?
      A - 471 R. Duterte St., Sto. Niņo, Banawa, Cebu City

05. Q - Have you heard of the case of the abduction of the Chiong sisters
            namely Jacqueline and Mariejoy on 16 July 1997?
      A - I heard of it from a friend whom I met at the BAI Disco last July 18, 1997
            or two days after the incident.

06. Q - Who is this friend who told you about the incident?
      A - Marcy Abesamis who told me that the sisters were missing for two
            days already.

07. Q - Do you know any of the Chiong sisters?
      A - Yes I know them all including the parents and the other members
            of the family ever since I was in grade VI because we are all members of

                the Jesus Christi Community in Gen. Maxilom Ave.

 

08. Q - When was the last time you this saw Jacqueline and Mariejoy?
      A - I just saw Jacqueline prior to the incident at the Ayala Center,
            while it's quite a long time since I saw Mariejoy.

 

09. Q - Let me tell you that among the suspects as gathered, as those

           as those responsible in the abduction of the Chiong sisters is a certain

           Tisoy Tagalog, have you heard of this name?
      A - Yes I was introduced to him at the Bai Disco sometime at the end
            of the month of May 1997.

 

10. Q - Who introduced you to Tisoy Tagalog?
      A - Joseph Philip Pritchard, a student of the International School here
            in Cebu and a boyfriend of my sister Beverly Bustillo.

11. Q - Since that introduction to Tisoy Tagalog, have you frequently
            seen Tisoy Tagalog?
      A - The week after the introduction, he went with us to watch concert at the 

           Gaisano Country Mall and since then I frequently met him at the BAI Disco 

           in Cebu Plaza every friday. Also he used to visit at the place I formerly 

           stayed in 1272 St. Michael's Drive, Guadalupe, Cebu City.

12. Q - You mean to say that you used to stay in this address?
      A - Yes, I stay there with my sister and three other friends.

13. Q - Who are these friends?
      A - Maureen Priagola, Maricar and Melanie, I forgot their family name but they 

            are sisters, Maricar and Melanie.

14. Q - Do you know the real name of Tisoy Tagalog?
      A - Yes he is David Florido and also he is called Cary by his friends.

15. Q - How did you come to know his real name?
      A - I asked him because he frequented my place in Guadalupe.

16. Q - How do you described David or Tisoy Tagalog?
      A - He said he is 18 yrs old, 5'5 to 5'6, very slim, deep seated eyes, high 

           cheek bones, brown skinned slightly dark and has plenty of tattoo all over 

           his body.

 

17. Q - Why was he called Tisoy Tagalog?
      A - Because he doesn't speak cebuano, only tagalog and english and his 

           brod in the Crazy/Kings Involved or CKI fraternity named him as such.

 

18. Q - What else do you know about David Florido or Tisoy Tagalog?
      A - He told me he and his family lives in the United States but because of his 

           frequent involvement in gang wars, he was sent here by his parents and he 

           stayed in his uncle surnamed Florido at the Happy Valley Subd., and 

           allegedly the owner of Wynn's Inn Hotel but he left the place because his 

           uncle is very strict and he just lived with his friends or barkadas.

 

19. Q - Do you know any of his friends?
      A - One of them is Rowen Adlawan, Kurt, MM and his brother Wangwang, 

            Ronald from Bohol.
 

20. Q - Are they the only friends of David? 
      A - They are the one's I frequently saw.

 

21. Q - Do you know where to find David?

      A - The last time I saw him was during the last days of July and I heard him 

            talking to Jaypee thru the telephone that he is staying with his girlfriend 

            somewhere in Jones Ave.

 

22. Q - Do you know the name of his girlfriend?

      A - I could not recall.

 

23. Q - Who is this Jaypee?

      A - The boyfriend of my sister Beverly Bustillo.

 

24. Q - You made mentioned a name Rowen Adlawan, who is this guy?

      A - I only frequently saw him with David Florido.

 

25. Q - What is the distinguishing marks of David Florido?

      A - He has plenty of tattoos in both arms.

 

26. Q - What places did he frequented?

      A - At the Shakey's Fuente, Croissant Express also in Fuente, Bai Disco 

           Ayala Center and at the Burger Machine in Lahug.

      A - No.

 

28. Q - Can you identify David Florido if ever you see him again?

      A - Yes of course.

 

29. Q - I will show you a cartographic sketch with the words SUSPECT and an 

           alias Tagalog/Tisoy at the bottom portion, can you identify this sketch? (At 

           this instance a cartographic sketch drawn by a CIG artist is shown to the 

           affiant).

      A - It looks more or less the face of David Florido.

 

30. Q - Will you please affixed your signature at the back of this sketch to identify 

           that this is the same sketch I shown to you?

      A - Yes I will. (At this instance the affiant affixed his signature to the shown 

           sketch).

 

31. Q - For the meantime, the investigator has nothing more to ask, do you have 

           anything more to say or retract from whatever you have just said?

      A - Nothing more.

 

32. Q - By the way Miss Catherine Bustillo, what is your highest educational 

            attainment?

      A - 1st year college.

 

33. Q - Can you read, write and understand English?

      A - Yes I do.
