SECOND REPORT ON THE FINGERPRINT EXAMINATION OF THE QUESTIONED PRINT MARKED AS "Q" ALLEGEDLY DEVELOPED ON THE DISKETTE OF THE COMPUTER AS COMPARED TO THE LEFT THUMBMARK MARKED AS "S-2" OF JOSMAN AZNAR

I. PURPOSE: To review and verify the findings of Police Inspector Edgardo Linezo of the PNP Crime Laboratory Region 7, Cebu City. 

II. MATERIALS  USED: Hand lens and enlarged photographs of questioned print marked is "Q" and left thumbmark marked as "S-2" of Josman Aznar. 

III. FINDINGS: That the questioned print marked as "Q" allegedly on the diskette was smudged, unidentifiable and unreadable in its fine details. This must be reason why the prosecution fingerprint examiner witness failed to show much less submit a comparison chart of this developed and lifted fingerprint with the homologous and clear print from the standard finger print marked as "S-2".

IV. CONCLUSION: It is for the reason that this questioned print marked as "Q" will not serve us a reliable and valid basis to establish the identity of the owner thereof. 

V. RECOMMENDATION: From the above considerations, it is my honest scientific belief and my strong recommendation that the said fingerprint exhibit be excluded from the list of admissible exhibits submitted by the prosecution.
